<3 .. X .. Bradley Wickings .. X .. <3

Bradley was 12 years old when he passed away on his sisters birthday.
He was a very active and fun loving boy who was popular with everyone.
In January 2006 Bradley became poorly with sickness and severe headaches. He went to numerous hospital appointments but no-body knew what was wrong untill he had an MRI scan on the 31st March 2006 which Bradley was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was then taken to LGI in Leeds where they operated 1st April 2006. Bradley then went through Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy to try and pro-long his life abit longer but unfortunatly he could only hang on till his sisters birthday (1st september) which in away shows myself and his sister Ashleigh the bond they both had together.
Althrough Bradleys short illness he was cared for at home by myself and the rest of the family and he never complained once. He was a brave little soldier.
Bradley had a wonderful funeral with the theme Scooby Doo, Bradleys favourite cartoon character and many of his friends attended. I think we gave him a send off to be proud of because everyone he loved attended and everything he loved was included.
It is Bradleys 13th birthday on the 28th June so this site means alot to me and Bradleys family.

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered come to me
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
